Tonight’s Ally Bally Show is gonna be a great show. Loads of great music, great fun and the competition – “The Hard One” will of course be teasing your musical knowledge from 7.30pm.
I’ll also be making another pledge to get you guys signed up with the WWF’s Earth Hour 2010 so I hope you can join me for that and much more on Inverclyde Radio, live from 6pm, right through till 10pm tonight.
You asked for it, so it’s happening! In less than an hour, the Ally Bally show goes up to 140 beats per minute and we dust off some of the cream of dance music. This is your last chance to get those requests in for it so get them in now via email – allybally@inverclydemedia.com
This is a live mix by the way so if it all goes horribly wrong, blame the DJ!
The WWF is embarking on ‘Earth Hour 2010′ on March 27th at 8.30pm. I would really love to put Inverclyde on the map and show that Inverclyde, although small is serious about climate change. By switching off your lights for just one hour and signing up at the WWF website you can make a big difference towards making a stand against climate change, and put Inverclyde on the map as a region that cares about it.

Hey! I’m Ally Bally, otherwise known as DJ Haggis. I present a radio show on Howick Village Radio, a local radio station based in Howick, East Auckland, New Zealand. You can listen to me live every Sunday night from 6pm. On this blog you will find all the shenanigans I get up to on the radio. There’s also some stuff on my previous radio ventures on Inverclyde FM, Fresh Air FM, SubCity Radio and Mayfield Radio.
I’m also a bit of a foodie, so some of my recipes are on here so you can cook them at home.
Today is the last chance to sign the fuel duty petition on the Prime Minister’s website to reverse the sneaky 2p fuel tax rise that came in January.
Nearly 100,000 people have already signed the petition to get the tax rise reversed.
We only have until lunchtime tomorrow (12th March) to let the government know that fuel tax rises like this are the last thing that our country needs in a recession.
So if you’d like to join me in signing the petition, the link is here:

Thanks to Brendan McLoughlin for this information.
It’s about time they listen to motorists!
Remember folks, there is no Ally Bally show tomorrow as Megastars Live will be broadcasting on Inverclyde Radio from 12pm.
